Abstract Footings are constructed closely to each other in mountainous rock areas and the determination of spaced bearing capacity footings on masses has become an important topic recent research. The primary aim this paper is determine efficiency factor, just like design a pile group, that can be used evaluate Hoek–Brown mass. advanced finite element limit analysis upper lower bound theorems study stability two multiple interfering using parameters such as GSI (geological strength index) m i (Hoek–Brown yield parameter). This found factor influenced by three dimensionless including , S/B . Failure mechanisms problems also investigated, charts tables produced for practical uses. Overall, these results broadly support common understanding key HB failure criterion. As result investigations, suggestions were identified future
